I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas. I had a very nice Christmas break with my friends and family. Even though I fell asleep quite a few times in between ( yes im getting old lol), I truly enjoyed being around laughter and life. I got everything and more this year. God has truly blessed me with good health, a job, and some very important people who genuinely care about me. What more could a girl ask for? I'm seeing things in another perspective and thanking God for all the blessings he has given to me. Two very important people have enlighten me. I hope everyone was good this year and received everything they wanted.

I Wear My Heart On My Sleeve

I wore this last week on Saturday. Adore this sweater ( I have it in another color  as well !!!  )and loved the overall look of this outfit. I'm a sucker for anything with hearts. Enjoy the weekend, even though its super gloomy here. Now off to a holiday party.

Mixed In

Today I had a nice day out with my mom and grandmother. I went for a more relaxed look, but the flats annihilated my feet. (sometimes you have to take in a little pain for fashion) I mixed two different types of prints and I think it worked out pretty well. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

Yesterday I went out for a little stroll. I finally decided to take out one of the newest additions to my purse collection. I got this YSL bag during one of Nordstrom's sales which took place at the end of summer. The next big sale is coming very soon. All the stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom & Barney's mark down their designer apparel and accessories tremendously. So if you've been eyeing those shoes that you must have or that pretty handbag, keep your ears open because the SALE is coming!! I wore this comfortable sweater dress which I purchased during one of Betsey's last sample sales (:( sighhh..) Originally this dress was $348 and I scored big time ..just $40.00 (wooohoo). I call it my ugly/pretty sweater. It's getting very chilly, which means you'll see me sporting a lot more sweaters. Bundle up. <3

My New Obsession

I love Madewell by yamparo featuring skinny leg jeans

As you can see everything here is from Madewell. I never really went into this store before ( I really don't know why), but after a recent trip to the mall I decided to have a peek and now I have officially fallen in love. The quality is great, the clothes are adorable, and super super comfy. These are a few of the items I purchased on recent visits. I have an obsession with hearts so I bought the blue striped thermal first. When I went back I had to get the tan one as well. Hearts on the sleeves = super cute. The sheep sweater above I still don't have but I plan on getting it next, but I have this one and I love it. (yes sheep are my favorite animals, Cuties !!!) Little French Hen

Hey guys, this is what I wore to work yesterday. I couldn't wait to wear this sweater, which I absolutely adore. When I fist saw it I just had to have it and to my surprise I got this as a birthday gift from one of my best friends. Isn't it just too cute? It's crazy how one article of clothing can be worn so many different ways and look completely different depending on the individual. I've seen this sweater worn with a skirt, heels, plain (with nothing underneath). I chose to make it pop a bit by wearing it with a plaid shirt and making it a bit comfortable by throwing on the chucks. I liked that this outfit came out exactly how I envisioned it (which rarely happens for me). Comfortable!! Enjoy your weekend!

          Hey guys its been a while, but I've been MIA due to this storm . Hurricane Sandy really hit the East Coast pretty hard, causing major damage to many homes and families. Its devastating to see how many homes were not only engulfed in water ,but swept away due to the water levels and strong winds. Many lives were also taken. I hope everyone is safe and doing well now. Thank goodness my family and friends are ok and the only thing we went through was power outage for 8 days. (Truly thankful).
         Well this is what I wore on the Sunday before Hurricane Sandy hit. I went to Soho for a little quick shopping with my friend.
