It's All About The Shoes

What I Wore: Express Top, Cargo Pants purchased in Macys, Michael Kors Watch, Betsey Johnson Illusion necklace, Shoes ( DIY project yes made out of thumb tacks)

On Saturday I went out for a little bit during the afternoon. It was not a good afternoon at all, super muggy and it was raining, so my hair started frizzing as usual. I went to the mall for a little to see what was on sale. I didnt see anything that really caught my eye ,but I did stop by Bloomingdales and saw the boat shoes I wanted for a long time. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Things On My WIsh List

Things On My WIsh List
These are a few things that I really really want by the end of this year. The Chanel Jumbo is an addition to my bag collection that I've been wanting for years. Preferably in a color such as red, purple or grey. I would love to have the YSL shoes and clutch for my birthday which is still months away. I could already picture the outfits out in my head. The Prada glasses are gorgeous. I like that they came out with this baroque touch ,<3 them. I've been wanting this Jessica Zenuer necklace ever since I spotted it on Lauren Conrad. This would be the perfect necklace for me because its extremely difficult to find my letter when it comes to anything, be it a ring or pendant and its even harder finding my name. (Yesenia). A girl could dream right?  Whats on your wish list?

My Last Betsey Johnson Sample Sale Adventure

A Dedicated Post To My Inspiration: Betsey Johnson

As you guys may know/not know from my first introductory post, I briefly said how much I adored Betsey Johnson. Well, I'm a little late as far as posting this, but its better late than never, right? Anyways I wanted to share my last Betsey Sample Sale EVER!! Yes the last. I was very upset I must say. I've been going to almost every sample sale for the last 4 years. Once I got those emails, I would rush to finish what I was doing during the course of the day, then hop on the train and go to the sale (like clockwork). So how could I possibly miss the last one. This time it was located in her showroom. This was where all her creations came to life. I literally wanted to cry when I got to the building and stepped out of the elevator. I looked to my right, nothing and once I looked to my left, there it was..... a hot pink hallway. I walked right over and I was left in awe. Here, I was finally here, where my favorite designer cut, drew, and dressed models for many many years. This is probably the longest I ever stayed at one of her sample sales. I just had to soak it all in, especially since this was the first time I had gone to her showroom. Of course I had to take some pics to remind me of the experience. Everything was for sale. When I mean everything it was literally everything you could possibly think of in the room inclding the light fixtures, paintings, computers, and mannequins. I ended up buying a floral skirt, a black skirt with a huge zipper in the front, a Marilyn Monroe long sweater, another sweater dress, a pink jean dress (kind of corset-looking which fits like a glove),and a vintage inspired dress. The two sweaters I purchased just as I was about to leave. One of the girls working there was bringing back clothes that some girls had already tried on and didn't want. SCORE!!! I couldn't pass this up or else I know I would regret it forever. Overall I was filled with extreme sadness and excitement at the same time. I love Betsey Johnson and didn't think this would ever happen. Although this is the end as far as her stores, its not the end of my adventures to find anything else I could find of hers and will continue to support her. So there you have it, I leave you all with the pictures below. Enjoy.

What I wore: Forever 21 dress, Betsey Johnson Purse, Tarina Tarantino bracelet, Ralph Lauren Men's Belt, Report Flats

Flower Power- Go Green

What I Wore: Old navy tank-top, Forever 21 bodycon skirt, Flower Headband, Michael Kors Silver Sandals, Michael Kors Silver Chain Watch, Betsey Johnson cross-body bag.

Today my friend and I went to White Plains, NY for an exhibit called DasHaus. Basically, it is an exhibit which travels around the US to show how we can be energy efficient by using several different products and how renewable resources can be used to help slow down global warming (yay). Although the exhibit was quite small, it was very interesting. I'm hoping to one day have my house powered by solar panels. Here are a few pics of me being my crazy self. This town had some kind of carnival going on and there were so many little stands, music, and kids dancing around. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Once I heard the Cha-Cha slide it was on. Of course I had to dance! Later on we decided to hit up a mall which was literally two blocks away from the exhibit. I got a little present for myself that I've been wanting for a long time. I initially had tried on the round version of these and WOAHHH way too big for my face. I found these squared babies and had to have them.
