Hey Guys, here is a look which I forgot to post since late October. I knoooowww. I've been M.I.A for a while ,but its the usual, everyone has their own things going on and unfortunately we become sidetracked. I love blogging and when I don't...such as pushing it from Monday, to Tuesday and then that becomes 2 weeks later, its a bit annoying. I will try to post more frequently as blogging brings me sanity.Anyways,  here is my weekend look. I rocked these pins my dad got for me. You guys know how much I love spiders !!!. It was the perfect little touch to a plain blouse. The Rebecca Minkoff booties I'm wearing were purchased last year at Bloomingdales at an incredible price. My mom insisted I get them because as she says, you cannot pass up a really really good deal. Now is the season for amazing deals at the department stores. Stalk the items you really want as they will be on sale. I would like a coat, knee high boots, a pair of killer heels with a nice little price tag. What items are you craving for?

Neiman's Sale

Neiman's Sale

[ 1. Red Valentino] [ 2. Alice + Olivia ] [ 3. Alice + Olivia] [4. Joie] [ 5. Troubadour] [6. Lafayette 148 New York]

Here are some of my favorite items for fall from the Neiman Marcus Sale that is currently going on now. I believe this sale comes around 2 to 3 times a year and I get super excited to see if the items I've been eyeing for months finally ends up in the sale section. Hopefully I get my hands on at least 2 or 3 of the pieces I posted above. Next I'm waiting on the shoes to go on sale (rubs hands together). So if you had something particular in mind, definitely start looking at the Nordstrom, Neiman's, & Bloomingdale's sites/stores. Most of the things on sale get sold really fast and it's quite difficult to find your specific size if you don't act quick. Get some holiday shopping done as well as some goodies for yourself. What are your sale picks? Happy Shopping!

So My Birthday just passed and it was a good one this year. I took off from work to spend it with my mom. I wanted a fun and relaxing day. As we get older we enjoy the little things in life , such as taking a stroll in upstate NY, having a nice little lunch at a pub, and doing some shopping of course. I didn't do anything crazy this year , but I did exactly what I wanted. I spent it with my family and best friends. What I want for this 28th year, well first I pray that God blesses me with health most importantly and happiness. I want a year of new adventures , memories, travels and lots of laughs. To another year ! Cheers! So this little number is what I wore on my birthday. A touch of girlie and sealed with a bow, just the way I like it !This bow was only $2.oo !!! I've seen others that were $125 and looked exactly the same. What better way to compliment an a-line skirt with knee high socks. What will you wear on your birthday ? Happy Birthday to all the Libras !!!!!

About a few weekends ago I went to visit my friend in Staten Island. She took me around the island for a little tour and since we both have similar interests in nature, museums, etc she thought it would be a good idea to take a walk through Snug Harbor. I absolutely loved it. If you are interested in gardens and history, this is a place you must visit if you are ever around the area. We walked around the various gardens and had such a great time relaxing and talking. One garden in particular which stood out among the others ,was the Chinese Scholar's Garden. I snapped a few pictures as you can see, but its a must see to really take in all it's beauty.  I wish it was closer to me so I could visit frequently and read my books there. I really didn't want to leave. Just sitting in that garden made me feel as if I wasn't even in Staten Island. So serene, so peaceful.
