   What I Wore:
Pants: Macy's (brand I'm not sure of...so old)
Shirt: Express
Belt: Forever 21
Fadora: NYC Street Market
Loafers: B.O.R.N

About a few weekends ago I went to visit my friend in Staten Island. She took me around the island for a little tour and since we both have similar interests in nature, museums, etc she thought it would be a good idea to take a walk through Snug Harbor. I absolutely loved it. If you are interested in gardens and history, this is a place you must visit if you are ever around the area. We walked around the various gardens and had such a great time relaxing and talking. One garden in particular which stood out among the others ,was the Chinese Scholar's Garden. I snapped a few pictures as you can see, but its a must see to really take in all it's beauty.  I wish it was closer to me so I could visit frequently and read my books there. I really didn't want to leave. Just sitting in that garden made me feel as if I wasn't even in Staten Island. So serene, so peaceful.

I love love love flare-swing type dresses. To me they are more comfortable and cuter than body- hugging tight dress. I scored this little number for $35.00 (originally $248) Wooot Wooot!

//What I Wore//

Crop Top: Urban Outfitters
Shorts: Forever 21
Sunnies: Prada Baroque

So I wore this little number when I took a trip to the Met Museum to view the Charles James Exhibit. The collection was not only insightful and more than what I had expected. His gowns left me in awe. If I lived in during those years of his existence, I would have loved to wear something even close to the work of art this man created. Each dress was so beautifully crafted to each tiny detail. They reminded me a lot of Zac Posen, which I truly admire. After I left the museum, I took a long walk through Central PArk. I could have sworn I had walked through this park throughly, but I was wrong. I didn't know they had canoe rides around the park, which I would like to do one day. It was so hot that I had to stop and get ice cream. I forgot how good these snow cones were. It's been years since I had one. So nostalgic.

Hey Guys. So you know how I'm obsessed with Macy's . Well I went to the one in Harold Square and there was a big shoe sale. My mom showed me these shoes and I first I was like ...ummm..aren't Hush puppies for old ladies ma? I tried them on and they were supppper comfortable. I'm not looking to get bunions any time soon. These are cute, colorful, and comfortable. What more can a girl ask for?
